Newsletter and freebies: when you subscribe or unlock a resource, I store the email address you provide and the date of your request.
Analytics: I use privacy-friendly product analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
Why I use it
Your email is used solely to send you the content you signed up for and occasional updates. I never sell or rent your data to third parties.
Analytics help me improve the content and the site experience.
Third-party services
I rely on a small number of processors to run the site: an email service provider to deliver the newsletter, a product analytics provider, and a hosting provider. Each only processes the data needed to provide its service.
Retention
I keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, after which your address is removed.
